My son Dave Wiebenga and I made our annual trip in mid June to Namakan Lake in northern Minnesota. The walleyes were elusive, but the "Smalls" were on a roll, and they weren't even on the beds yet!

Telling the truth, we caught so many we got bored and came home a day early! Dave's girl checked in at 22" and right at 6 lbs, and I had to settle for a midget of about 19 1/2" and 5+ lbs. Babler, we'll get you up there yet! Hope the pics attach okay! Tight lines and safe times to all . . . .. . Terry

Gorgeous fish and a trip with your son - that's something you can remember again and again. I am green right now.

Man, those are awesome fish!

However, I noticed on both pictures that I see elbows?

Apparently, you guys don't know that when holding a fish up for a picture you need to keep the arms straight out in front of you. :have-a-nice-day:

Fished and camped Namakan, Kabetogama and Rainy Lake a lot! Best smallies in North America in Rainy! Miss the summers in Intl Falls but not the winters!
