I don't have the budget for a generator and wondering if that would work better than propane. Thanks Yes you can I run 3 led lights off two batteries but you could get away with one I've got about 20,000 lumans of light output and no generator
slothman Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 I certainly don't go a bunch, but we still do it old school with 3 Coleman lanterns. Much darker than with the generators, but almost silent too. Jacob McIntosh 1
Jacob McIntosh Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 You don't see many gas lights any more I use led lights now it's nice when it's quite and really bright.
MOPanfisher Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 LEDS are definitely brighter and easier, but the hiss of a row of gas mantles is just cool. grizwilson, Jacob McIntosh and slothman 3

Jacob McIntosh Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 I like seeing them so dose my grandpa he set up a few boats around here back in the 60s with gas lights to I've got a smaller jonboat I've toyed around with the idea of putting gas lights on but never have weather permitting we go at least once a week all season and it's usually just hook on to the jet boat and hit the river.
