Members Doug Vahrenberg Posted July 22, 2011 Author Members Posted July 22, 2011 Doug, been watching the videos again. Love the lakemasters but cant seem to find it on the web for MO. Any ideas as to where to get it and how much? The Great Plains Chip has the Missouri Lakes but they are limited for the first year. Truman, Stockton, Pomme De Terre, Longview, Clearwater and Blue Springs. Johnson Outdoors (Humminbird Parent Company) just purchased LakeMaster and there are plans to add alot more lakes soon. THe additional capital and resources from Johnson Outdoors will see more lakes added and new regions.
Jason Essary Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Thanks Doug. Looking for TR mainly. crazy4fishin Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Doug - I assume that these are Humminbird shots....I have been looking at purchasing a unit for about 6 months and I have to ask. What is the real difference between Lowrance and Humminbird? I have been to our BPS many times but I get a different opinion/answer everytime. Just looking for a straight answer.... Thx, C4F Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker

Members sticksteer Posted July 27, 2011 Members Posted July 27, 2011 Go to BPS during Monday-Friday regular day business hours (before 4pm) and talk to Scott in Marine electronics . . . . . he will demo to you how how humminbird has it all over lowrance and lakemaster has it all over navionics and then some . . . . . he will leave no doubt in your mind . . . it is a shame that the rock is not a part of the lakemaster chip at this time . . . . . . just remember, the side imaging will be very difficult to read over an expanse of more than 50 feet if your unit has a 5 inch display or less . . . . tough to pick out details when you are side imaging 75-125 ft on a 5 inch screen . . . and, of course, the 7, 8 and larger size screens are so costly they come with a free link to a list of local divorce attorneys.
