Members skiburd Posted December 23, 2011 Members Posted December 23, 2011 Here is a link to MDC that covers the felt sole issue http://mdc.mo.gov/newsroom/mdc-bans-porous-soled-waders-help-protect-trout-waters-invasive-algae There is a link to a video that describes how to treat felt soles to make them legal
FishinCricket Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I wonder how easy it will be to tell the difference between treated and non-treated felt soles? cricket.c21.com
Mitch f Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 There is a reason why the Missouri state animal is a mule. Also, we are the Show-Me state. We were the gateway to the west at one point in time. Adventurous people came through St. Louis on their way to make a new life "out west." The people who stayed behind became Missourians. Resistant to change, afraid of the unknown, wary of outsiders, suspicious of government, insular in our provincial thinking. Same as it ever was. Reminds me of the movie "Waiting for Guffman" .......Blaine, Missouri "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Members Robert Posted January 2, 2012 Members Posted January 2, 2012 My Chotas are seven years old. Fished all over the place with them. I ordered out a new pair of Redingtons today. If they last as long as the Chotas I'll be 80 years old by then. I figured to fish until I'm 90, and then see how it goes from there.
