junkman Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 A question from one that has never been there. I hear people talk about the cables. Is that referring to the cable stretched across the water below the dam? Curious minds want to know. Thanks
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 2, 2011 Author Root Admin Posted November 2, 2011 There's a cable that runs across the lake on the BS side that says no boats beyond this cable. You can cast to the dam though- it's that close.
Bill Babler Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Could not get the pic's to come up. Google said maybe it could fetch them later. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

emjay Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Wow the water is that low now? Havent been back since summer but looks alright for bank fishing finally.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Fishyest place in the state!!! SIO3
junkman Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 SIO3, is that statement true? I remember reading many years ago in a In Fisherman magazine that the tail waters below Truman were the best bank fishing water in the USA. I ask for I have never ever seen the Poweresite dam let alone fished below it. But if it is better then Warsaw then It may need checked out.

Although at times you can catch a lot of fish, it still is no comparison to Below Truman dam.
