stlfisher Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 So last Saturday night I popped the question to my girlfriend and she said yes! We are both excited and planning a fall wedding. She is a great girl and I am very lucky. As a nice bonus she is very supportive of my fishing habit and she was so excited she decided to show me my Christmas present early. Turns out it is a custom built fly tying table and a rotary vice and some new material to work with. Nicely done babe!
Justin Spencer Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Congrats!, marriage isn't what hurts the fishing so much, but be prepared if babies are in your future, that's when the understanding begins to wane quite a bit. Gavin Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 be prepared if babies are in your future, that's when the understanding begins to wane quite a bit Yep..
stlfisher Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 Thanks for the congrats guys! Kids will certainly be in the not too distant future and I am sure my free time will wain substantially. Hopefully my future kids will take an interest and I can take them with me when they get old enough. Either way I am looking forward to being a dad someday even if that means less fishing.

And trust me, as a dad of two little girls and a Current River fly fishing addict, no fishing trip will ever compare to being a dad. Best of luck!!
