duckydoty
My brother, Brother Dave, came down Monday night for some power hunting. We got up early on Tuesday to hunt Taneycomo. Saw 3 or 4 birds flying and had one almost work us. Slow, slow morning. Took out about noon and headed to Table Rock to scout some new areas that I've been wanting to go look at. Did an afternoon hunt on the Rock at a place where some geese have been coming in to roost, but they did not come in till 15 minutes after shooting time ended. Big goose eggs on Tuesday. Hunted the Rock Wed. morning and tore up some golden eye early. Then the geese came by. 3 different flocks and we pulled 2 out of each flock. Headed back to the areas we scouted the day before and found a cove loaded with mallards. Hunted that area this morning and pulled down 4 greenheads. Did another evening hunt for the geese this afternoon and they came in 20 minutes early today. Managed to pull the lead bird out of the sky on the first shot, but flubbed the next two. Pretty fun three days. Had to work hard for what we got, but enjoyed hunting with my brother. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at..
