Sign it or don't, it's that simple....Just don't tell me to chill. Or what to do in general

As for the way i commented, i really didn't know that you can yell at someone over the internet.

This is a quote from Dave Lefebre, Also the same person who turned me onto this petition.

"I live on lake Erie, where I can catch 200 bass every single day if I want to, I can supply references to that fact because I know it is crazy. I fished the a rig for a mere 2 days and caught 83 combos man! (4 quadruples, 49 triples, 30 doubles). That's 223 fish on 83 casts....unheard of, unnatural, unsporting to the max, not what pro sports are all about."

ENOUGH SAID

This is for tournament fishing READ THE PETITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whatever guys, the petition is there. Talk to lilley about getting rid of it cause im not deleting it ...PEACE!!!

I have quoted three of your gems here. All caps is considered yelling on the internet. So, yes, chill, and plan on more flak if you keep treating people this way. Your little petition has little merit in Missouri as 3 hooks is the legal maximum.

An umbrella rig is defined as an array of more than three artificial lures or baits (with or without hooks) used by a single rod and reel combination.

with or without hooks....

I can think of several other rigs that use 3 or more hooks and several with multiple baits without hooks excluding the last on that has a hook. Not sure what point you are trying to make perhaps you can explain.

my point made is that someone on here said there is no merit for the petition in missouri. Because missouri allows only three hooks. Its not about the number of hooks, but the number of lures.

Also once again this petition is for tournament fishing, so the state law really doesn't affect the outcome of this petition.

CS, chill, seriously. If you think it is unsporting, don't use it. How about eliminating a shotgun for duck hunting? Require a .22LR round for ducks as it gives the ducks a more sporting chance. How about only deer hunting with a 5" blade or shorter, no firearms? Wow, this is a case of you wanting to impose your moral judgment upon sportsmen who choose to compete. Should a multi-rod spider rig be illegal for crappie? I guess so if we use your logic. Get over yourself, and accept the criticism that comes with proposing something like this.

as for this correct me if im wrong, but i think they only allow to use a shotgun that can only chamber three rounds.

You can have here in Missouri If i remember right up to 33 hooks per line if it is labeled. Trot line? Many moons ago when I fished below Truman Dam when they Allowed remote control boats to go all the way to the dam. Guys would rig with several baits and when they had enough fish to sink a two litre bottle they would crank it in. I think this was some of the demise of the breeding stock that made it illegal to use boats that went clear to the dam.

That's not the point. The point there is that a shotgun has a spread, meaning your aim doesn't have to be exact, making it easier. If you had to use a .22LR chambered firearm to duck hunt, it would be very hard to fill a bag limit.
