fly2fish Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Nice going but where were you guys 3 or 4 Friday nights ago when it was 17 degrees the water was still the same temp. With it thundering and lightening bet Leonard thought I was going to show up too, surprised you got him to fish in those conditions usually first flash of lightening (or a beaver) he's out of there.lol F2F

laker67 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I can rember fishing one of the very first friday strippers . I fished with Micheal Kyle, his dad Stubby, and Tim Young. Micheal, had a new fly that night, and all you had to do was hit the water with it. I must have missed hitting the water several times because I ended up with the fewest amount of fish. I think Leonard and a couple of other rookies were there as well.
Wayne SW/MO Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Sounds like a good time. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Andrew324 Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I was down at the dam on Saturday night. I stuck around during the generation because it was quite busy during the day. Ran into Leonard and chatted it up while we waited for his client (another OAF guy). I had a good night bringing around twenty to hand, including a this lengthy rainbow that fought forever. I hit rebar, below the tree, outlet 2 and the flats and had hookups in all places. I so enjoy Taneycomo at night.
