bigredbirdfan Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I think the intent of keeping people from getting hurt from broken glass is clear and I'm all for no glass where it could be broken in the rivers and streams as I like to barefoot on the river quite a bit.
Greasy B Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I remember when I was young an old timer showed me how to hold my pop bottle under water so it would fill and sink to the bottom. My how times have changed. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
Nortrad Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Good, not great product from Big Sky Brewing, Missoula, Trout Nirvana, I mean Montana. I like the Mountain Pale or Pronghorn IPA better. Trout Slayer is good for when it's hot...
jdmidwest Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I remember when I was young an old timer showed me how to hold my pop bottle under water so it would fill and sink to the bottom. My how times have changed. I can show you how to do that with a can, it was common practice in my younger days... Was reading an old Herter's Guide Manual that suggested you sink your cans in the lake. Of course, back then they were make of steel and rusted after a time. fishinwrench Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 If you only knew how many 12v batteries have been "float tested" in this lake it would make you wannna cry. If they ever pull the plug on her it will take 400 dozers to clean up what gets exposed. Even without all these new laws snd regulations we are so much more thoughtful and responsible than the generations before us.
Members Troutdude Posted February 20, 2012 Members Posted February 20, 2012 Gentlemen, As per my attorney, Dr. Gonzo, no glass! Might I offer any of the Tallgrass Brewing companies tasty libations? All available in cans for your recycling pleasure. Heck, I even drink them off the river.
