rumrunner Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 truman is not near the bass lake loz is and i've always heard that blamed on the fluctuating water levels.i know it's for flood control, just sayin.i don't know why the crappie do so well and the bass don't.
rangerz21 Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 It just fires me up mopan and rum. When we get all this silt and no one else ever considers silt. Mopan isnt that silt settles something like 21 miles from the headwaters. That would be like buffalo on loz. I am sure truman would be different since they changing inflow on the different size of rivers rum i agree with but i think it is the silt and changing water levels that have hurt the bass spawn. Look at loz always within 2 ft every year when the spawn occurs and truman is a 30 foot variance. Just hate it that all the rivers havke silted so bad. tons of boats use to always go above bucksaw now there are few so its not pressure. maybe the MDC will stock some more hybryds this year lol
