buckcreekmike Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Kansas Rig- AKA "Final Four Rig" but i do understand how anyone from Missouri would have never heard of that rig. I hope you can break that streak this year! I REALLY like that!
gitnby Posted February 21, 2012 Author Posted February 21, 2012 There's also the : San Francisco rig- Obviously, it is a tube bait, often used in "Buddy Tournaments", where the terms Co-Angler and Life Partner are synonomous! Usually, the guy in the back of the boat has control of the Power Pole. New York City Rig-known for blue and orange hair jigs, and more hookers than a tackle box full of Alabama rigs! South Beach Rig- best lure to catch cross-bred hybrids. Only lure where both the jig and the fisherman are wearing rubber skirts! Branson Rig- a lure that was semi-popular 40 years ago, is usually red, white and blue, and still catches older fish year-round!
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Branson Rig- a lure that was semi-popular 40 years ago, is usually red, white and blue, and still catches older fish year-round! Very good!!, may I add, Younger folks seem to be attracted to it , thinking there may be something to it. Burned again!! Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
Members tangled-again jim Posted February 22, 2012 Members Posted February 22, 2012 I hear that San Franciso rig is good for fishing bottoms, too.
gitnby Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 Canadian Rig- a lindy with 5 live minnows or leeches. "Hey, hoser, what'd you catch those fish on, eh?" Hence, the original version of the "eh" rig!
KCRIVERRAT Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Arizona Rig - Targets invasive species from south of the border. Also referred to as the OLE' rig for its propensity of missed hooksets. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
