Al Agnew Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Been a long time since I watched that video, but I always loved it. Lots of places shown that I recognize. The Falls on the North Fork, Mary Decker Shoal on the Eleven Point, the huge granite bluff below Fish Trap Rapid on the St. Francis, Bee Bluff on the upper Buffalo... Don't those frog and bird sounds make you wish it was summer? Thanks for posting it, Chief!

Greasy B Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I watched just enough on my phone to know I'll need to see the whole film tonight. Bee Bluff on Buffalo River? That's interesting, I wonder what spurred the MDC to acknowledge something across a political border? Usually a government agency's world ends at the border. Thanks for the post. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974

Daryk Campbell Sr Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Wow, that sure did not seem like 30 mins. Thank you for sharing. FishinCricket Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Hmm, bout ten minutes in the fella referred to "my river"... I was implicitly informed recently that no one OWNS the river and we aren't allowed to refer to it as "mine". But imma do it anyways. lol cricket.c21.com
ness Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 That was fun. Interesting seeing the old gear, the rangefinder camera, etc. And, who hasn't sat around the campfire with a gasoline lantern singing 'This Land is My Land'? Reminds me of watching films in gradeschool. John
