Well that's about it, the title says it all. Below the dam. Water was running over the dam with a good current.

How was the weather down there? Been meaning to make it down with all the rain since I heard the fish are starting to gather. Had a buddy pull out some big sow whites last thursday.

The rain has been concentrated over on the border. There was some heavy rain in the upper White area, but the rest of the watershed hasn't seen buckets of rain, at least not yet.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

There was just a sprinkle or two. It looks like I may be able to luck out again and go tonight also. We're taking worms and going after big perch in Swan before it gets dark, there's lots of em in there right now.

went to Powersite last night, lots of water coming over the dam and they were generating, so it was really swift. The water is up 4-5 ft covering the "rockpile". my brother caught a small rainbow on a crawler, i moved down and fished the mouth of swan and got a big hit on a white double willow spinnerbait after dark, but i still got skunked and then the rain and stiff wind gusts decided it was time for me to go home. Going to try powersite again saturday in my kayak and fish the backside of the rock pile

I'm not very knowledgable about walleye habits, is it odd for them to still have a belly full of eggs in late March ?

I caught one from a LO trib yesterday that was packing a full load.

A good looking fly rod caught walleye and a great photo FW. Any whites coming up yet?

Thanks Laker.

Nothing exciting happening in my neck of the woods, bet they are in yours though :)

Howdy FW. Don't know if the niangua is producing yet. I haven't heard much activity. What is really strange, there are basically no spoonbillers on this arm of the lake. I saw 3 boats opening weekend and thats it.
