Wow has this thing exploded. Reading today that he hired the gal that was on the bike on March 28. I wonder if there's any state HR rules (they're both state employees) about hiring someone to work for you that you're having a relationship with. Even if there aren't it's not a smart thing to do. Obvioulsy one of them will have to go. Or maybe both. Comments I've seen from U of A fans seem to be that as long as he's a winner they can overlook his character flaws. He could be the Devil Himself and I think he'd still find a lot of support as long as he's winning. But if he stays, how long before the next Petrino misstep?

Im not sure is she is the "past innapropriate relationship" everyones speaking about or if it was in his early career. I will hold off judgement untill more facts are known. I just find it strange such a high profile person in this area would be having one in such public places as he said they were on that day. Sounds more like friends went out and the Media is starving for something and are making this more than it is. But we will see

There's a rally supporting Petrino in front of the Broyles Athletic Center at 7pm tonight.

I've also heard that many of the boosters and donors are pissed, b/c Nutt was allowed to do the same kinda stuff for years and his record sucked. I guess it all boils down to winning.

Arkansas will go back to mediocre football without Petrino.

Tennesee will hire Petrino if he gets fired. They want to win, just like Ole Miss did with Nutt.

That clause in the contract about not going to another SEC school is Null in this scenario.

Man Im just waiting to hear what really happened not some Media spin on the truth. What will happen if all the sudden details come out that show Bobbys wife and family knew he was out on a ride with this girl and it was nothing more than two co-workers out having fun and then an accident happend.

I will tell you what. NOTHING the Media will say ooppss and the people condeming him wont say sorry. I am really getting sick of the media and its crap anymore blowing things out of proportion without all the facts.

If he did something wrong fine let the UofA deal with him but only after the facts are known. If not then alot of people owe the man a huge appology.

Small town media mentality has been killing the UA.

not like he was abusing little kids, or crashed his car off a bridge and killed someone or well I think you get the idea.

Peoples personal lives really need to off limits. Now if it was happening on the job or affecting a persons job for the negative then its his employers duty to act. Heck wasnt there a man who was President who had a little oopsy on a blue dress and people still love him and think he was the best.
