jeb Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Drove by Waymack today. Gone! Lot is empty, building looks empty, signs are gone. They were putting up a big for sale sign in the parking lot when I went by. Sad deal. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
Stump bumper Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 J&J Marine is an over looked place and has little over head to support they have always done me right. Very easy place to talk to the mechanic instead of talking to gate keepers and salesmen.Only place left you can have a cup of coffee and a smoke while you talk about your boat
J-Doc Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I heard the place on the way to the lake just before you get to P Creek (Wolf?) is a reputable guy. I can't remember if he is certified on Yamaha but he works on all of them. Is J&J the little place on the left on the way to the Rogers airport? Just off the 4-lane? If so, I called several places to get an idea on how much my rebuild would be and they were $1,000 cheaper than anyone else and I hear they are a good shop also. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!

J&J is the place in Lowell surrounded by a chain link fence that has all the used boats. (479) 770-2161 Going South from Rogers it is on the right hand side of 71B before you get to the light.

Members rhondafish Posted May 16, 2012 Members Posted May 16, 2012 Pretty Sure John Waymack retired..H'es been wanting to for a long time..but sad to see him go. Been there for 25+ years. Anyone have any experience with Bradford Marine re boat / outboard service work? Thanks
Feathers and Fins Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Wolfe is very good but LONG WAIT... I like guys who have long waits because they have them for a reason and it usually is reputation for good work and warranty. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
