Algae?

Anybody think the Black (specifically, the stretch between Cave Spring and the K Bridge) has more brown algae than normal right now? Noticed a lot of the stuff this past weekend. Not sure if I am identifying it correctly. Just seems like I didn't notice it the last couple years.

Maybe it's just because the river was relatively low (dry lately) when I was there. Just curious if anyone has made this observation.

yep, I was at K Bridge yesterday for fun times with the wife and dogs. Lots of scum on the rocks. We sort of thought it was because of lack of activity to break it up, but it might be a seasonal thing? Last year at this time massive floods had hit it. I am sure mother nature is doing its annual ritual.

No, your not going crazy. I believe you may be referencing some posts by Ron Kruger. He left the site and requested his posts be removed. We lost some good info.
