Yeah, the kevlar/epoxy kits are what everybody uses...kinda tan in color, pretty thick. Easy to do as long as you follow directions. Very abrasion resistant, but if you drop it on a rock it can crack and even get a hole in it. It's thick enough that it has a slight but noticeable effect on the speed and tracking ability of the Penobscot I put it on. I'd be interested in the Keeleazy stuff.

keeleazy will send you a sample of the 2 inch stock. it's about an 8 inch long piece so i used it at the point of most contact on my keel then covered it with the 3 inch stock for extra protection. They say you can use a hair dryer to take it off and reposition it once its on, but it's on pretty good and i'm not sure how well that would work out. I used a laminate roller to roll the keeleazy on. it's flexible unlike the epoxy, easy to work with and store and has an infinite working time. It isn't bullet proof though, but the two layer system makes it easy to see when you might need to replace it.

I'm getting more and doing the underside of my coosa.

I've never put one on a canoe but I install alot of these...

...on bassboats. They come in various lengths, choices of colors, can be trimmed to fit and are semi-permanent, which is to say "you CAN remove it... but it ain't easy".

The next jetboat I rig is gonna be "enhanced" by full length strips of this stuff, it's way easier to work with than UHMW sheets and flexes with the hull material.

Figure the skid plates on my boat are about 1/4" thick...I usually get 4-5 years in before I grind through the stern skid plate. The one on the bow of my boat has never been replaced.
