Brian Sloss Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 That would be guiding (outfitting) and would therefore require a license on the scenic rivers or be employed with a licensed outfitter. Some of the rivers are more wide open as far as licensing goes. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
bobber Posted May 18, 2012 Author Posted May 18, 2012 the IN~PUT is great thank you ! but i'm not taking the scenic river route, or waters used by any other outfitters. my plan is to stay with the smaller waters . i have a list , of weekend fishing people that don't want to go after the trophy, or record breaking trips. this might sound silly to the (big guides) but all they want is to be more like a fishing buddy. to be called up and hit the water for a day, or weekend trip. i have taken 4 outtings so far and it has got my list to 26 confirmed. ready to go, and about another 16 doing the iffy thing! this all word of mouth . and no money. just grass root networking . so the need for a service is out there. <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*
gotmuddy Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 thats awesome bobber. I have been kicking around the idea myself. What most people dont know is you dont need to fish the buffalo or CC or big name places like that to catch a BIG smallie. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
