I'm relatively new to the forum and new to fishing Table Rock. I've read a lot of posts that mention using the DD 22 for the deep crankbait bite. Wondering what some of the better colors are. I assume anything resembling a shad as you're trying to match the forage.

Bite for me in the last 3 weeks has been on a Lavander Shad.

Good Luck

I have rarely bought a DD22 as I always find them on TR! What I find and then use are Fire Tiger, Nutter Shad, Green/Chart/White, Chart./Blue and then one I have had the best luck on is the Texas Shad that has a pearl and pink kinda thing going on. When I find them I usually check the bill to see how much use they have gotten and figure the more worn down the lip the better the color/lure must be since the person who lost it must have had confidence to throw it so much so it must catch fish. But the shad patterns are best IMO.

Ive had success with all of the following colors in Ozark Lakes around the region.

The numbers are unique identifiers when trying to place an order thru Bill Norman..

000 - Pearl/Gray/Pink

141 - White/Green Fleck

139 - Black Splat

275 - Slick

225 - Apocalypse

Love it...

...but prefer the big FF Shad in any shad color. Just have never liked the DD22 for some reason. If AB finds any of my big FF's they will probably be in the pearl/flash color or sexy shad.

white, shad, and even a kind of green and yellow ive had luck. and i usually aim for points with lots of cover and places that look like the trees and shrubs would eat your crakbait and youll never ever see it again
