Chief Grey Bear Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 The biggest one I ever saw was at J A Reed. Easily a 60 pounder. I didn't have any trouble seeing him as we met face to face at one of the ramps. Wayne SW/MO Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 It would help if one could see the other pictures, and maybe knew the guys knowledge level. Who knows, the author of the story might have picked the only picture that had some resemblance to a lion. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members rayfromcrane Posted July 27, 2012 Members Posted July 27, 2012 Hey Chief saw one out on Crane Ck. Rusty saw him first. On other side of creek. rfc
Al Agnew Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Pretty poor picture to go by, but I'm with Chief...I can clearly see a short, white-tipped tail with a black band just ahead of the white tip. Unless that's some artifact of the photo, it's definitely a bobcat. And unless you guys are looking at a different photo than I am, there is nothing in that photo to really give you scale...so I don't know why you're saying it looks too big to be a bobcat. Nor is there anything to give you any real idea of the length, since you're only seeing the back and head. Probably a big bobcat, but I'm calling it a bobcat.
