Try fishing a worm like a crankbait, seems to be triggering bites pretty good up by me.

Slow down, pull out your shakey heads and carolina rigs/drop shots and try to find the fish pulling off the points a little bit. I'm usually looking for deeper structure on my ff on the big lakes and tryin' to throw a worm in front of em.

If that don't work, I usually head to the house...

Fishinwrench - what size and color do you suggest?

Just cast and real?

Carolina or Texas rig? What size weight?

Thanks in advance! :)

I like the Zoom MagII during the mid-day, and the Zoom Ol'Monster early and late. Color is up to you but grn.pumpkin and tequilla shad is what I use.

Texas rig, pegged. 1/4 or 5/16

Just cast or work the worm into a piece of brush, pop it gently off a limb and swim it steadily back to the boat with the rod tip low. The bite is either a weightless feeling or feels like you picked up a leaf. When you feel that, sweep-set hard to the side and reel like a madman if they run towards you.
