Tim Smith Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 Handguns when fishing? Hmm. Lures usually work better. When I'm relaxing at home I usually keep a couple of guns around but when I'm showering I'll throw caution to the wind and just hold the one. I've never been attacked in the shower so that seems to be working out fine.
Chief Grey Bear Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 I hear they're super easy to catch during the spawn. I wouldn't know. Might ask Tim. jdmidwest Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Are meth heads legal to shoot on site like feral hogs? Sounds like that's the main target, will have to get me a weapon and see how many I can bag. Should be. The law does not seem to have much effect on them. Berry co. is about 3 miles west it was no 1 for meth in mo not no. 1 now. This info comes from cops. As of last check Mo. is now no1 in US for meth. You never know when the other person is carrying. Hay ness I will buy him a few worms. sorry chief could not pass that one up. rfc Mo was number 1 for about 20 years. Jasper and Newton counties being the top. I believe it is now South Carolina. I can spot em a mile away, and it ain't ever a good thing when they show up. That drug is destroying a generation in this part of the country.

Yet the average Walmart Pharmacy can't tell the difference between them and someone suffering from a cold or allergies........ The actual burden to society is the money spent on the penal system to house them, the Hazmat Teams to clean up their messes, the dental bills charged to Medicaid, and the thievery of honest hard working citizens to support their habits. It is an epidemic that has no end in sight. Hollywood makes TV shows that make it look cool to proliferate it. It is what it is, drug abuse. Justin Spencer Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 In Ozark county it seems like meth is starting on its 3rd generation. Most around here have kicked it by the time they are 60 and are raising their grandkids while their kids battle the problem, with the grandkids not far behind I'm sure. Sad to see, and I can't figure out why kids grow up seeing the mess their parents are and then decide to do the same thing. Seems like over half the people who grew up around here either are on meth or recovering. Mitch f Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 Sad to see, and I can't figure out why kids grow up seeing the mess their parents are and then decide to do the same thing. There in lies the problem. I think the easy availability and peer pressure gets them hooked, then the drug addiction trumps all the guilt and reason.
