ozarkgunner Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 How often do you replace yours? Mine only lasted 8 months of use three days a week. Angler At Law
fishinwrench Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Dry rot usually gets to mine long before the tread is gone. But I can usually get 3 years out of them.
Mitch f Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I use mine all year long and mostly in winter so I rarely get dry rot "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

jdmidwest Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 You might want to go to a tire shop and get a better rated tire. Most stores only carry light load rated trailer tires, a tire shop can order some that have heavier load rating and better tread wear. Look at the load range rating on the tire, should be B, C, D, E or something like that. Make sure you keep them properly inflated per the poundage on the tire. ozarkgunner Posted August 29, 2012 Author Posted August 29, 2012 The worn ones came on the trailer. I upgraded to better ones. Angler At Law
ozarkgunner Posted August 29, 2012 Author Posted August 29, 2012 Tire shop (mitchem tire and wheel) said I should get two to three years on my new ones . Sound right? Angler At Law
