Lower Dosage River

Has anyone been on the lower Osage River lately.

Just wondering how shallow it's getting above the Mari Osa delta up by the high power lines

I have found that nobody talks about Bagnell why? If I knew what was going on and when it would sure be cool. 2 hour drive for me. I wanna catch hybrids whites and walleye. Help me out. Come on guys

I watched guys catching big hybrids there last year but they were all the way up by the wall. I'm just not prepared to pay the fine to catch fish

Does anyone know anyone that has ever been fined? Just curious what the charge was called.

Whenever I'm down there it seems that I am the only one paying any attention to those lines.

Yeah I know. The game warden at top of hill with binoculars told me it was $112 per guy

I've been told 70.00 but again....never heard of anyone having to pay it.

Buddy and I got ticketed for a bit over $100 each for shooting asian carp with our bows over the line when we were younger. As for not talking about Bagnell, I've not fished it much. We did catch a few nice crappie at the MariOsa access in early December. The top five were 11.5-13.25" slabs. A few weeks later, I tried it again on a nicer day and only managed one small bass and one nice crappie. Nobody else was catching anything either.
