Drbucketmouth57 Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 Has anyone been on the lower Osage River lately. Just wondering how shallow it's getting above the Mari Osa delta up by the high power lines
Drbucketmouth57 Posted September 13, 2012 Author Posted September 13, 2012 No reply I guess that answers that.
Hog Wally Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I have found that nobody talks about Bagnell why? If I knew what was going on and when it would sure be cool. 2 hour drive for me. I wanna catch hybrids whites and walleye. Help me out. Come on guys
fishinwrench Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Hog, spend a few hours down there, look around, breath the mist.... and you'll understand why nobody talks about it. Take hand sanitizer.
Hog Wally Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I watched guys catching big hybrids there last year but they were all the way up by the wall. I'm just not prepared to pay the fine to catch fish
fishinwrench Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Does anyone know anyone that has ever been fined? Just curious what the charge was called. Whenever I'm down there it seems that I am the only one paying any attention to those lines.
Hog Wally Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Yeah I know. The game warden at top of hill with binoculars told me it was $112 per guy
fishinwrench Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I've been told 70.00 but again....never heard of anyone having to pay it.
Seth Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 Buddy and I got ticketed for a bit over $100 each for shooting asian carp with our bows over the line when we were younger. As for not talking about Bagnell, I've not fished it much. We did catch a few nice crappie at the MariOsa access in early December. The top five were 11.5-13.25" slabs. A few weeks later, I tried it again on a nicer day and only managed one small bass and one nice crappie. Nobody else was catching anything either.
