I hit the river with a friend this past weekend after a much needed excursion. We camped at Montauk Thursday into Friday to assure a good dose of angling. A mixture of sun and clouds late Thursday made for good fishing but the real action was on Friday. Chilly 56 degree temps with light rain and solid overcast seemed to get the fish active and feeding. We fished nymphs all day as they were producing well but also saw some aggressive top water hits on what looked like tan caddis flies. I had intended to throw a streamer at some point but couldn't get off the nymphing action. Hope you enjoy the video!

Looks like lots of clouds and browns. Man, I've gotta get back there...

Very cool video! Love seeing some more GoPro videos showing up in the Ozarks!

The river looked LOW. I recognized all those areas and they looked soooo skinny. I have never seen that bluff hole we call "The Wall" that low.

Can't wait to get back up there. Best wade fishing in the Ozarks, hands down.
