fishinwrench Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I wonder how much longer before someone seeing one isn't front page news anymore. I saw my first one in 92-93 and have seen one other big tan cat and a big black long tailed panther type sucker prior to 99, and now everyone and their dog has seen at least one. They are here, and I think just about everyone is done being excited or freaked out about it. What I wanna see is a gator or an elephant. Maybe a python....now that'd be cool !

jdmidwest Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Pythons are becoming a nuisance down south in the southern states. If they learn to hibernate, they may be here soon. I am sure there are many pet owners releasing them into the wild in Mo just like down south. It is only a matter of time till they build up a resistance to our winter. They'll probably be in Alaska within a few years.
