strangercreek Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 something I read on another site R&D (ripoff and duplicate), posers, integrity chips, its not Mcdonalds, its Mcdowells? I'm not sure here, is this sarcasm or just kidding around maybe? I hope. If not, I don't know what to say... Hopefully someone on this forum knows what I'm talking about... not trying to start any trouble by all means. I guess I am just missing something...

strangercreek Posted October 24, 2006 Author Posted October 24, 2006 Now that I have thought about the issue more (issue with copying flies), I guess I can see where this guy (charteredwaters.com) is coming from. This is more related to people taking the credit for designs I think (rather than a fly tyer just tying a few in their living room) Phil is making a better discussion of this with a new topic under general discussion (copying flies, ethical or unethical?). When it comes to developing a product (if that is what you are trying to accomplish, and if so good for you) then it is fair game unless you protect it with copyrights, patents, etc. Its a tough business world...
