exiledguide Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 If everyone thought like you do, American manufacturing would be in worse shape than it is now. We should NOT support American workers by buying American-made goods, right? I have no problem with imports but an American company selling made in Godless communist red china or hethan viet nam is big buisness spiting on any one who ever served in the military cause we were told we had to defend the free enterprise from communism only to see the jobs at Zebco, Rebel, etc sent to communist countries. Every time I pick up a product made over there I put it down because it makes me think of friends of mine who never came back from Viet Nam because they had to defend our so called free enerprise. Summing up, you are right Drew and the rest of you can who thimk this is not a problem need to pull your head out of butt.
Football Head Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Drew I have several Falcon Lowriders and absolutely love them. IMO you cant go wrong with a Falcon. I do not have that particular rod you are looking at but I'm sure it will perform just as well as the others.
tjulianc Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 This is a pretty cool video on what it takes to make a fishing rod.
kjackson Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 While I haven't fished that exact rod, I'm familiar with many of the G.Loomis rods. I did fish the 721 in a spinning configuration (same blank) and it was the perfect rod for 1/16-3/16 ounce leadheads. It would not be what I'd pick up for your use. I'd probably prefer the 723 for that.
drew03cmc Posted January 1, 2013 Author Posted January 1, 2013 I am intrigued by the CR721 taper, if anyone has any experience with that rod, let me know...paging Eric1978. I like lighter tackle and fish smaller creeks more often than not. Andy
