drew03cmc Posted March 31, 2013 Author Posted March 31, 2013 Your Walmart carries Falcon? Ours carries nothing in that range... Andy
RSBreth Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Yeah, no matter what your local X-Mart carries would you buy something the average customer there has taken and "played with" and rely on it NOT to break from abuse already on it. That's the reason why if I buy a rod at Bass Pro I get them to go in the back and get one, not one out on the floor that everyone has already done eight rounds of pretend sword-fighting with.
ozarkgunner Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 I have seen falcon rods in Walmart in springfield and como Angler At Law
darbwa Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 My last rod purchase was a Falcon Bucoo Micro BMC-66MH or "Herm". I haven't thrown it a whole lot yet but so far I love it. Very interested in the 6' low rider LFC-5-16. I would like to get a better selection of shorter rods for the canoe. In general, I choose Falcon first. As an American manufacturer, the made in USA does matter to me but I realize that it is not as simple as that. My New Balance shoes say made in the USA too but I know that is only partly true. My Toyota was built in Tennessee and my friend's Ford was built in Mexico so go figure??? I do my part by completely avoiding Wal Mart...probably a dangerous thing to say around these parts.
