Guest Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Pre-rapalas have the old plastic which is slightly more dense, therefore causing a slower rise. this slow rise can be achieved with the new more bouyant plastic buy adding a suspend dot or using florocarbon line. Both baits will catch fish. the new "original" is the one thats on the shelf today. pre-rapalas are scarce and you must fight ebay or yard sales to get them
