Was out yesterday doing some fishing and graphing and came across these fish suspended in the trees. What is your best guess of what these were??

School of whites I think. Too large for crappie.

SOOOOOOO JEALOUS of your graph. Freakin' sweet! One day, I'll get structure scan technology.

I agree with F&F. I still think it may be whites but crappie is a more probable scenario and if F&F says something. .....I listen. :-)

Threadfin ball, with crappie in the tops

What ever they were there were a lot of them along the point in the trees heading towards the river channel. Tried a spoon, jigs, wiggle wart, topwater and a shaky head with small worm and could not get a hit. There were singles coming to the surface once in awhile but never got a good look at them to be able to ID them.

Normally, when I get stuff to show up that large it is likely a school of spots or whites. Mature gizzards might show up that large but these fish were quite a ways down and I think crappie would show up much smaller. At least the ones I have been seeing on Stockton show up smaller that those fish do.

This is a shot of some white bass that weighed 2-3#. They are 15' shallower than the other pic.
