BilletHead Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 I will have to try chard sometime. I know what you say about Anne, like the wild hair though. I am afraid if she got ahold os someone she could snap them like a twig! rps Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I made an hors d'oeuvres of cottage cheese, mayo, celery, carrot, cucumber, sweet red pepper, dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, green onion, dill, old bay, salt, pepper, parsley. After it blends you serve it on crackers. I followed with home made crab cakes - more meat than breading, no mayo. I served a cold green bean (marinated in olive oil, balsalmic, garlic, onion) salad as the side. The wife is not fond of black eyed peas, but when I do fix them, I start from the dried beans.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 We had hoppin john. I always put celery in it so that covers the greens close enough. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
