ozarkgunner Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Yes. I'll give you mine. They are junk for bass. Looks like a good saltwater bait. Angler At Law
mic Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 Thanks. I think they were designed to saltwater. Cabelas had them half off.
fishinSWMO Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I have caught some bass on one of the larger size, I'd like to try the smaller one. I believe Al makes his own sub-walk. Jeremy Dodson
Gavin Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Bought a couple years ago....Never caught a fish with one...but my daughters enjoy playing with their fishies (sans hooks).
Al Agnew Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 The larger size is too big. The smaller size is very difficult to get to walk well. Which is why I make my own. Mine are a little easier to walk, and the first year I used them they were sometimes pretty deadly. Since then, I haven't had a lot of luck on them the last couple of years. Don't know why. They're still holding on in my tackle boxes, but they are about one or two more years from being cut from the varsity if they don't start producing more fish!
Mitch f Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 That lure seems to make the fish go WTF????? And come up to take a look more than about any lure I've ever seen. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
exiledguide Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I've had about the same results as Al. I used the original size and had a bit of success at first but then kind of quit using them that year in favor of plastic worms that summer and have never been able to replicate the results again. I'm going to spend a few days this year fishing just with this and few other lures that have been major dissapointments. If they due not catch fish they will be executed at a time and place to be determined...........It's got to be the lures fault not mine..........
