Dutch Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Don't know. I saw 2 at one of my farms yesterday. The took turns eating an armadillo.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I usually go down there a couple times a week and a rarely do not see one, They tend to be more in the big open part of the lake, but i have seen them up in the river also. There are tons of duck, geese all kinds of fowl there right now. regardless if you see an eagle there is plenty to watch.
Harps Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Eagles are at Lake Springfield from mid November to mid February in general. Ditto for most Ozarks rivers and other lakes. Although more and more we see them all year at Stockton as the resident/nesting population builds. I'm assuming the same is true for all of the major reservoirs, and I have seen them on the Current and Big Piney in the summer recently as well.
jbtiwns30 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 I seen 3 of them flying around by the power plant area.
