If we only get five or six, tie double that amount and everyone gets two each, and the swap master keeps extras for his time. I liked it because I got two of everything. I didn't keep the extras, just randomly spread them out, but that was me. That sounds ideal if we get less than ten or so- each person tie doubles of their pattern.
