Members JigNpiggiN Posted February 14, 2013 Members Posted February 14, 2013 Ban all baits that cost more than $6
Jerry Rapp Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I don't think they should be banned as long as it is within legal laws of the state it is being used in. I also wonder why no one has really challenged the "no live bait" rule in bass tournaments. If live bite is that good, why not allow it? It is not illegal in state regs. Walleye tourneys allow live bait.

Walleye tourneys allow live bait. I think that might go back to the introduction of C&R. There is a tendency for fish to swallow bait and live bait dealers don't advertise. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Jerry Rapp Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 yea, I forgot. Walleye don't swallow live bait. Nor do crappie in crappie tournaments. But I thought circle hooks prevented that anyway. There is your first advertiser.
