exiledguide Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 They are pretty durable and have an extended shelf life as long as you don't left them dry out. The containers seem to have a natural desire to leak and IF they baits dry out they are hard as a rock and do not recover from that state. You would think that by now they would have found a better jar lid. I put them in small rubermaid containers in the boat or in Zip lock bags in my vest, I found they didn't need to be submerged in a jar keeping them wet in the baggie seems to work.
