Clarity sucked, I did not mark anything fish wise in less that 20, we did catch a couple bass in 12 fow coming across points but they were more striper bait size than bass size lol. Seemed the majority have moved out to deeper water. My guess is the lake needs a couple days to settle down, my fish finder was picking up all kinds of static from the debris.

Yes Ron we were trolling, more of a just get out trip than serious fishing but ended up producing a PB and that's always a good day.

F&F , got out on Beaver at 8:30a fished till 2p , lake wasn't to bad with the tourney or the " hatch" the only frustration I had was --- loosing a keeper walleye at the boat that came out of 20' of water on an orange harness trolled at .8mph , only one of the day and also caught one 14" spot also , that's all I could get -- fishing was tough today but still beat working and was a nice day to just be out

It was tough I got out at 1:30 and took me till 5 to find anything biting. Managed 6 Largemouth to 2 pounds off one point that I watched them busting shad on Out came the popper and got them before it shut down, pulled one decent white and 3 walleye all in 17''. That wind was brutal today made boat control next to impossible.

If it keeps up these torrential rains, it is 2011 all over again, with level of 1132. I hope it doesn't. The fishing is poor enough already. I haven't caught a single keeper all spring. Ready to just give up!

Get out the flipping rod!!!

No doubt, Im tempted to break out the 25lb mono on the trusty flipping stick.

Might just hit all the deeper bushes with a 3/8oz booyah jig the variety with heavy wire hooks and living rubber skirts.

Black/chrt A-jig with a green pumpkin/chrt money craw.

That's the ticket in brown water.

Orange/green works pretty good too, sometimes I use a blue trailer and swim it where bluegills are hiding out.

You might not catch numbers but the 4-5lbers will hammer it.
