Feathers and Fins Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I found them from the hatchery to Point 11. Tons of Crappie today as well but all were apparent smokers and it stunted their growth but still a blast. Lake was insane busy today and the tubers, skiers and jetskier hatch is on. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Feathers and Fins Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Ya tell me about it! I just sat their thinking fishing seasons going to be over before Labor Day this year. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
jdelow77 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Hit the Bella vista lakes today , caught a nice 4lb black and a shorty ... Nice day but the wind picked up , my focus will be soley on whites for next few weeks !
JohnF52 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Was at Beavorama and Twin Bridges today. Very muddy and trashy at Beavorama. Water was running fairly clear at 45 bridge, but nothing biting. A few boats took out there and said they caught a lot of white bass about two miles down river near Walker Bluff. Yes, there is enough water to launch and run a medium sized bass boat. There's another front coming in tomorrow that will freeze the fishing back again until sometime next week.
Sore Thumbs Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 Thats good to hear. That means they can run all the way up to there now.
wc1063 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 They are still around pt 12, caught around 20 today.
npierceuark Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Caught about 20 whites and half a dozen walleye. One bruiser eye went about 25" and fought like a champ thought I was pulling in a log. There are a lot of fish congregated about a mile downstream of walkers bluff. Thrashing and splashing all evening. Sat in the boat and watched school after school of whites move up stream. I'm hoping this front coming in cools them off a bit because they were definitely spawning, hoping it's not a run and done week and a half.
jdelow77 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Anyone know how far up war eagle they are ? I'm hoping they slow down until next week ! With the warmer weather the first part of the week they should be in full swing !
Sore Thumbs Posted April 10, 2013 Author Posted April 10, 2013 By natural walk there were males and females. Big water there it was hard to stay on em. I think u will be fine til this weekend or next week. Did anyone see that Tahoe buried? The water is rising and that rig will be under after this rain thats comin.
