New leader, Stacey King still hanging in there. looks to be about 8-9 lbs. back. Steve Meadors of Bella Vista took the co-angler title, congrats Steve!

Meadors is one of the best fisherman around here that isn't a pro.

I guess its a matter of time until he starts fishing full time.

Jason Christie with 20lbs, Wow!!

I think he won here in 2008, or one of the other high water years.

That guy keeps impressing with his ability to make adjustments on the fly

Thanks for the reports. You got to believe that Christie, is throwing the Stick. Maybe a rig, but I would bet you those big fish came out of Cedars on a stickbait. He is every bit as good with it as Mike M. and it is kind of his signature deal as well.

What is the temp down there? The Rock is 51 at most 53

Thanks again for the ujpdate.

Temps way up War Eagle was 57 and at mouth area of War Eagle and White River junction was still around 56-57.

58 to 62 as Beaver shores and around the fish hatchery, I saw several of the tourney guys blow past the hatchery this afternoon coming from up river. Lots of whites around the hatchery some walters and very nice bass in the backs of pockets surprised none of the tourney guys were there.

I'm an FLW member so the wife and I got VIP passes and a backstage tour yesterday. We were able to sit on the front row at weigh in and just could not be happier for Steve. He's a friend of the family as my wife used to work with him at Arvest. He's been nice enough to give me fishing advice, but I've never fished with him (despite me pestering him about it :D ). He was so pumped. You could tell when his bag was weighed with one angler left to weigh, that he knew he had it won. He had a great bag for the day. Talked with him afterwards for a minute, and he was still on an adrenaline high. He has worked hard to win this and it was a thrill to be there to see him win it. Here's a shot of a very happy man:

The co-angler that fished with Christie didn't catch a fish, and he said Christie had told him the night before that was going to be the case. Said he enjoyed fishing with him, but a tough draw for a co-angler apparently. They were pretty tight lipped about how they caught them, of course.

It would be hard to pay $750 to be a co angler and have your pro tell you that you will not be catching anything. Be tempted to tell him that he will be netting his own fish that day cuz I would be in the back taking notes teying to get something out of the deal.

I bet there is more to that story. I don't think he meant it that way (Christie that is)

I don't think there is anyone who can block me that good, they have to snag or retie sometime....

Most of these co-anglers just need to learn how to drag.
