Jack Jones
While not my favorite (that would be Merle), he was certainly a giant and I'll miss him. The passing of these old school country legends really hurts. So many were just not the pretty boys/girls. They lived hard, and they brought a voice to that hard living. No other artists are doing that today in country. Goodbye George. Go with God. Greasy B
We'll miss you George. They may be hard to find but there are still people who play real country music. Look up Dale Watson, he's the real thing. Plays in a bar in south St louis a couple of times a year, I would highly recommend seeing him. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
