Jason R. Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Pretty good hybrid on a grey over white clouser. Its exciting when you're catching white bass and suddenly your drag is screaming. http://flyinthesouth.com/
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Nice, that had to be fun and get the heart pumping. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Feathers and Fins Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 VERY NICE ONE https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
J-Doc Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 How can you tell the difference between a hybrid and a true "white"? They all look alike to me! LOL! My buddy and I caught about 60 of those about 2yrs ago up near Cedar Creek on a mainlake point. Schooled off and on for a few hours. I thought I was going to loose my spinning rod from my hands a few times. Suckers pull like a drag car! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Jason R. Posted May 3, 2013 Author Posted May 3, 2013 I could tell this was a hybrid cuz it was A. too big to be a white and B. has the tell-tale broken lines on the side. - it is really hard to tell with smaller hybrids sometimes though. http://flyinthesouth.com/
hoglaw Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Good on you for getting out. I wish I could have been out yesterday before all this stuff came through. The water was just a little too high on Wednesday. Very nice fish.
J-Doc Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 I've been seeing largemouth with the broken lines. A lot of cross-breeding going on in Beaver. Lost of love in that lake! :-) Need marine repair?
