Pretty good hybrid on a grey over white clouser. Its exciting when you're catching white bass and suddenly your drag is screaming.

How can you tell the difference between a hybrid and a true "white"?

They all look alike to me! LOL!

My buddy and I caught about 60 of those about 2yrs ago up near Cedar Creek on a mainlake point. Schooled off and on for a few hours. I thought I was going to loose my spinning rod from my hands a few times. Suckers pull like a drag car!

I could tell this was a hybrid cuz it was A. too big to be a white and B. has the tell-tale broken lines on the side.

- it is really hard to tell with smaller hybrids sometimes though.

Good on you for getting out. I wish I could have been out yesterday before all this stuff came through. The water was just a little too high on Wednesday. Very nice fish.

I've been seeing largemouth with the broken lines. A lot of cross-breeding going on in Beaver. Lost of love in that lake! :-)
