edwin Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I recently sold my Bass Cat, so my rod storage becomes my locker on the dock. Well, all my rods now are 6'6" or longer...and my locker is just over 6' tall. Sooo, I'm looking to buy a couple rods to keep in the locker to toss a topwater off the dock, drag a jig / shaky head, or an occasional grub. My rods today are mostly either Falcon Cara T7's or St. Croix Legend Tournament series. Any thoughts / suggestions on similar models avail in a shorter length is greatly appreciated. tnx edwin "Advantages are taken, not handed out"

St Croix makes some in the Premier and Triumph lines (same SCII blanks, different place of manufacture). Bought one a few years back to replace an old All Star used for jig spooning. Think Falcon still makes them in the Original line. Cabela's has a few in various lines, but have not fished them.
Ham Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Edwin I have a 6'2" St Croix Avid MXF I'd love to sell you or trade for one of your Cara's. It seems just a little too short for me to be comfortable with anymore. Do take a look at the Browning Medallion rods. They make a 6 foot medium. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Ham Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Edwin, I actually like the standard guides better and I like the full handle better. I will PM you with my contact info. I'd love to make a swap if you are interested. I know you will have other options as well. Thanks! Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
