eyedabassman Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Or is it in the chip for the State of Mo. or just for Table Rock?
motoman Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 A bit off topic; but If you have a smartphone, the Navionics app is very impressive for the price.:-)
fishingaddiction Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Just the "Great Plains" Chip. It is a good chip I have been looking at this chip also. What is the best chip for TR? Navionics or lake master? Do you use lake master? Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
dwiebenga Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I have both. I like the lakemaster because of the color range select. I also like that I can raise and lower the lake too. I need to play with both more to see which one is best.
fishingaddiction Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I noticed the color range thing, that sounds like something that would be handy if you were keyed in on a certain depth range. It would much easier to stay on the contour that way. Thanks for the info. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
dwiebenga Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 When I was there two weeks ago. I put a depth range on at 28-32 feet of water and I kept the boat there all weekend. Easy to just look down at a color vs. depth numbers.
eyedabassman Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 The color depth range is very cool. I have the LakeMaster chip for Wisconsin and I fish alot at night and it works great! LakeMaster covers per state but I think on big bodys of water you can buy a chip just for that big lake but,I am not sure that is wht I did ask this question?

The only issue I have with the Lakemaster chip is I don't fish any of the other lakes the Great Plains has on it. I would prefer this chip if it included some other lakes like Bull Shoals, Beaver or other Arkansas lakes closer to home. I would buy it, if the price was lower for just TRL. I do agree the color depth range is a nice feature that might be worth the price. Born to Fish. Forced to Work.
