Hog Wally Can you put in at red horse and go even short distance up or down river with a prop. I am running a 16 ft landau with 20 hp mercury? I am new to this forum, but grew up wade fishing and camping at Indian creek where Lowell Plymale used to take care of property in the 80's and early 90's

I just came back from spending four days at my property right by Redhorse and you really cannot go up or downstream much at all right now. In the spring and early summer you can get around some but right now it is too low to go anywhere with a prop.

If you put in at 30 bridge you can run a couple miles by prop. They were catching big crappie this weekend all through there

Wish I would of heard about the crappie on Saturday. Would of headed downstream. I caught some nice catfish but would of rather had a nice bunch of crappie.

I didn't get to fish much but I caught a short walleye and numerous smallies.

30 bridge is in St. Clair. Costs a couple bucks to park & launch. Glad u had fun.
