My brother-in-law and I got out early Sunday morining and hit the right place at the right time. We went straight to Indian Point and we started fishing the bank and we weren't there 2 minutes and the whites came up. They were from 1 fow to 45 fow. They had a couple schools of shad that they were chasing around. They were there from about 630 until 730 and then they moved out. We caught about 50 in that time. My bro in law had never seen that before and he was worn out after that hour of action. We threw square bills but i think they would have hit anything that was close to looking like a shad.

The whites stayed up longer for you than me, we caught several out of a school that stayed up about 10 minutes. We were around the mouth of Mill creek in the K city area. 4" grubs were what we threw at them, and they took them with zest.

Sunday was a good day, but the best time for us was late in the afternoon from 5:00 to 8:00. We caught around 30 mostly small jaws, but also some nice K's and LM. Our best fish were a 3 lb smallie, and a 4 lb LM. Most were caught on the Ned Rig, but the grub helped some too. I will post some pic's later.

You guys had a time with the whites, I am sure you had enough with the number you caught in the hour!

Congrats...........and thanks for the report. Good fishing.

It's always great to get someone involved who hasn't seen the phenomenon of schooling fish, especially big whites. Congrats on a fine morning.

For all those looking and have struck out... don't feel bad. I've been over 3 times looking for whites and have come up short each time.

I'm still trying.

"They were here or there yesterday, this morning..." Just have to keep looking.

Ah, the fickle nature of the chasers. That's usually my luck, too, Phil. Or if you do find them, they come up 100 yards from you, so you turn the TM on high and fast-troll toward them only to have that bunch go down and an even bigger school come up directly behind you ... exactly on the spot you were sitting 2 minutes ago. :XD:

Ya, if my son is with me and I start chasing them he really gives me the rasberrys, as they always come up form whinst we came. "Really Dad."
