I hate for folks to lose access but Brian's right...There isnt much in the way of fishing or scenery in between Sunburst's lower take out and Dawt..Just a long ugly erroded mud bank on the North Fork Ranch side...then a big frog water hole above the Mill Dam. The ugliest stretch on the NFoW.

It's been a long time since I've been down at Dawt. I just can't picture what you guys are talking about. Anybody got a picture of this?

Justin -- that low bridge upstream sounds like an accident waiting to happen. I always though McKee bridge was too.

I have heard rumors that MDC was interested in purchasing the land at James Bridge and creating a good public access there (not confirmed however), that would solve a lot of access issues on the lower end of the river.

Lots of emails to support?

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

My family stoped using dawt several years ago, and now use sunburst. They are great to work with and have been our takeout of choice for several years.

Patrick is noticeably lower that McKee.....and it is a STATE bridge.

Doesn't look like it will change anytime soon with MoDot cutting back. All we can hope is that terrorists will target these bridges to cutoff those of us between the NFoW and Bryant Creek from the rest of the world, then they will have achived world domination. Or maybe we could get some help from some drone bombers.
