Guest Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 We're floating Indian Creek down to the Elk tomorrow. Its gin clear, with a handful of deep holes but its shallow for the most part. I'm using a 1-2 punch. Shaky head finesse worms and Ned Rigs for the bottom. Smoke grubs and finesse swimbaits rigged for shallow current and deep pools with cover. 80% of the bites will be young smallmouths tomorrow, Its a numbers game with an occasional big fish.

Sounds like you did exactly as you said!! Congrats "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
cnr Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I eliminate water by fishing it all and letting it eliminate itself! Best summation by Al. Let the water eliminate itself. Love it.
Guest Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Sounds like you did exactly as you said!! Congrats It's funny bc I caught 6 on the swimbait, zero in the grub, 25 on the finesse worm. The Ned rig accounted for the other 110. Everything that bites can be caught. No more missed bites no matter how small the fish.
